Our Branch

We at the IEEE Al-Baqla Applied University Student Branch – IEEE BAU – located at Amman, Jordan within the Region 8, which include Europe, Middle East and Africa, of IEEE Geographical regions. Our Branch established in 2015 with a vision inspired from the IEEE moto, “Advancing Technology for Humanity”. Fostering the benefits of IEEE to our youth at the university in particular and the surrounding community in general. Our ingenuity lies in the education, engagement, industry, research and service.

Our branch has been honored by receiving several awards in the Local and Regional levels.

  • IEEE Region 8 Exemplary Student Branch Award for the 2017-2018 Academic Year.
  • IEEE Jordan Section – 2017 Best Student Branch Award for holding outstanding activities.
